    Shop local and save!
  • 9 am to 6 pm:  Second Best Sale
    Hosted By:  Peace Lutheran Church, 1225  12 Mile Rd

  • 9 am to 7 pm: Visual Arts Exhibition
    at the Sparta Twp. Library, 80 N. Union St.

    View art entries from our local artists.  Anyone can enter.  Cash prizes awarded.

  • 10am to 4pm:  “Carnival Lights & Country Nights” Craft
    at the Sparta Twp. Library, 80 N. Union (Youth Room)
    Children of all ages can make a special craft representing this year’s theme.
  • 10 am to 5 pm: Railroad Depot Open House
    400 N. Union
    Come and tour Sparta’s 115 year old Depot, Caboose and Motor Cars.
    Fantastic replica model railroad in the Box Car.
  • 11 am: Kid’s Parade
    N. Union St. to Balyeat Field
    Sponsors: Little Caesar’s Pizza
    Decorate bikes, wagons, strollers, etc. Helmets required for bikes, scooters, inline skates.
    Line up at Alma / N. Union
    Popcorn & drinks served in Balyeat Field after the parade.
  • 11 am to 4 pm: Pet Rock Painting
    in Balyeat Field
    Paint a pet rock  or try your hand at the Bean Bag Toss.
    Donations benefit Old Orchard Prairie at Sparta High School
  • 11 am: Youth Fitness Challenge in Balyeat Field
    Hosted by: Wolverine Worldwide YMCA
    Prizes for the kids plus enter to win a FREE YMCA membership!
  • 11 am to 4 pm: Petting Zoo
